Email list cleaning prepares a contact database before sending or verification. It inspects structure, maps duplicates, keeps source context attached, and separates records that need a different decision.
Does cleaning verify a mailbox?+
No. RefreshScan checks structure locally without contacting a mailbox. Provider-backed verification is a later authenticated step for eligible unique addresses.
Are duplicate rows charged?+
No. RefreshList maps duplicate rows before paid verification. The address is checked once while every original row keeps its relationship.
What happens to malformed rows?+
They stay visible with a reason and are excluded from the maximum verification requirement. They are not silently deleted or treated as invalid mailbox results.
Can cleaning prove consent or delivery?+
No. Cleaning cannot establish permission to contact someone, guarantee delivery, or replace suppression and unsubscribe controls.
